Regular Council Meeting 2-18-08 Page 10 First Readinlz of Ordinance No. 2008-13, entitled, "An Emergency Ordinance authorizing the Mayor to enter into a Purchase Agreement for the acquisition of 6826 Meadowood Drive, Mayfield Village, Ohio." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Saponaro, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2008-13. Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. Motion Carried Rules Suspended Mayor Rinker stated that this is a property that we have looked at and discussed a number of times over the past two to three years. With the apparent coincidence this year with the relocation of Thornapple pump station as Tom announced a few weeks back, the timing works out pretty well. We hope for all concerned that it does work out well. ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Ordinance Enacted First Reading of Resolution No. 2008-06, entitled "An Emergency Resolution in support of Issue 15, the Cuyahoga County Health and Human Services 4.8 mill replacement and reduction levy." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 2008-06. Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. There were no comments. ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Resolution Adopted First Reading of lZesolution No. 2008-07, entitled "A Resolution expressing the Village's support of the 600 Beta Drive Redevelopment Project and authorizing the Mayor and the Director of Finance to seek financial assistance from the Cuyahoga County Commissioners through the Municipal Commercial Redevelopment Fund and declaring an emergency." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. . ? ??
