Regular Council Meeting <br />2-18-08 <br />Page 10 <br />First Readinlz of Ordinance No. 2008-13, entitled, "An Emergency Ordinance authorizing the <br />Mayor to enter into a Purchase Agreement for the acquisition of 6826 Meadowood Drive, <br />Mayfield Village, Ohio." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Saponaro, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2008-13. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br /> <br />Mayor Rinker stated that this is a property that we have looked at and discussed a number of times <br />over the past two to three years. With the apparent coincidence this year with the relocation of <br />Thornapple pump station as Tom announced a few weeks back, the timing works out pretty well. <br />We hope for all concerned that it does work out well. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br /> <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 2008-06, entitled "An Emergency Resolution in support of <br />Issue 15, the Cuyahoga County Health and Human Services 4.8 mill replacement and reduction <br />levy." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 2008-06. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. There were no comments. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />First Reading of lZesolution No. 2008-07, entitled "A Resolution expressing the Village's <br />support of the 600 Beta Drive Redevelopment Project and authorizing the Mayor and the <br />Director of Finance to seek financial assistance from the Cuyahoga County Commissioners <br />through the Municipal Commercial Redevelopment Fund and declaring an emergency." <br />Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. . <br />? <br />??
