Regular Council Meeting
4-21-08
Page 10
Motion to authorize expenditure in the amount of $14,760.00 to JSS Electric
for wiring from building to pole (eliminating transformer).
Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to authorize expenditure in the amount of
$14,760.00 to JSS Electric for wiring from building to pole (eliminating transformer).
Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion.
Mr. Marrie asked if this is necessary for safety reasons.
Mr. Marrelli replied that the transformer is right next to the back of the Jadd Mall. It has been hit
a couple of times by the garbage truck.
Dr. Parker stated this was discussed in Finance. His only question was if this was a necessary
expense and is there a final drawing showing the net effect of having that there. He looked at it
and did not know if it was absolutely necessary to move it. It has been there for over 30 years.
The Jadd Mall has been there for over 40 years.
Mr. Maxrelli stated that he mentioned this in committee, you can either do it or not do it. If we
don't do it and build a patio over wires, we are not going to do it.
Council President Buckholtz advised that this is a step in the direction of what we could be doing
in Planning Development for that area. It is not a step backwards. It would be a step forward.
Mr. Marrelli added it is all in conjunction with the new entrance in the patio area. It is better to
make a decision now to leave it or not than to come back later after everything is put in and say
we should have done it.
Roll Call: AYES: All
NAYS: None
Motion Carried
Expenditure Authorized
Motion to authorize advertisement for bids for the Mayfield Village Police
Facility.
Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to authorize advertisement for
bids for the Mayfield Village Police Facility.
Council President Buckholtz asked if there were any comments.

Mr. Saponaro reported that in Finance, the committee discussed what the bid was going
to look like.
