Regular Council Meeting <br />4-21-08 <br />Page 20 <br />Mr. Brett reported that this is required by the state to create the fund in order to receive these <br />dollars. This will be until we stop doing the accounting. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 2008-14, entitled "An Emergency Resolution providing for the <br />creation of a"Seneca Road Improvement Project Fund" and authorizing the deposit of funds into <br />such account." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 2008-14. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />ANY OTHER 1VIATTER THAT MAY COME BEFORE COUNCIL <br />Mrs. Kalina welcomed Mr. Marrie back. <br />seen it. <br />Mr. Thomas reported that Danielle had a baby girl. He has a picture if anyone has not <br />Chief Dearden provided an update on the health status of Sergeant Sullivan. He has been <br />fighting pneumonia and complications since January. He has been in and out of the hospital. He <br />reentered Lake West last Monday and on Tuesday had a heart attack. The complications are <br />mounting. He did call today. He is off the ventilator. They are working to get his condition <br />improved. Council President Buckholtz asked that Chief Dearden keep us posted. <br />Mrs. Mills thanked Council for the donation to the Historical Society. They really need <br />the money. <br />Additionally, Mrs. Mills advised that she is having Chief Mohr look into fire training on <br />fire prevention as far as gas wells in the community go. As explained in Finance, we would like <br />to have some more communication with the residents about gas wells in general. <br />Council President Buckholtz stated that Doug and others are working on putting together <br />a presentation that we will provide to the residents. <br />Dr. Parker indicated that we should let various areas know that we are working on this <br />issue and that more information will be forthcoming.
