Regular Council Meeting <br />7-21-08 <br />Page 2 <br />Special C.ouncil Meeting - July 7, 2008 <br />Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to approve the minutes as written. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Minutes Approved <br />COMMENTS FROM MAYOR RINKER: <br />There were no comments. <br />COMMENTS FROM COUNCIL PRESIDENT BUCKHOLTZ: <br />There were no comments. <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS: <br />SERVICE - Douglas Metzung <br />Mr. Metzung reported that the crack sealing program has been completed for this year. <br />BUILDING - John Marrelli <br />Mr. Marrelli reported that the house is finished at 762 Kenwood. The owners have moved in. <br />They are very happy with it. As you recall, that was an existing house that had mold issues and <br />had to be bulldozed. They cliose to stay in the Village and start over. If you get a chance to, <br />drive by there, it is a cute little house. It is just perfect for that site. Also, you should have <br />received a note Mr. Marrelli received from University Hospitals. They have taken a master lease <br />on the Georgian Center. They will operate that entire building. It will be sooner or later full of <br />University Hospital doctors which they are already working on. They will be making <br />improvements and putting a lot of money into the building. Mayor Rinker asked if we should do <br />anything formally. Mr. Marrelli replied that he talked to the director and asked if he needed <br />anything from us yet, such as a resolution and his response was, hang on, they axe still getting <br />their bearings. Council President Buckholtz asked if they gave a timeframe. Mr. Marrelli <br />replied that they are just getting started. Mr. Marrie asked if they were the same owners. Mr. <br />Marrelli said same owners, different managers. <br />ENGINEERING - Tom Caupello <br />Mr. Cappello reported that a pre-construction meeting for the Raleigh Road relocation project <br />and the Seneca project will be scheduled in August. Once we have that meeting, he will be able <br />to report on the actual schedules of when the projects will begin. Also, last Friday we opened
