Regular Council Meeting <br />10-20-08 <br />Page 3 <br />ARCHITECT - Ron DiNardo <br />There was nothing to report. <br />HLTMAN SERVICES - Eunice Kalina <br />Mrs. Kalina reminded everyone that they axe having flu shots in this room on Wednesday from <br />1:00-3:00. There are 213 people signed up. They anticipate having somewhere between 210 and <br />225. <br />STANDING COM1ViITTEE REPORTS: <br />Activities Committee - Mrs. Mills reported that the next meeting is scheduled for October 2gtn <br />At that time they will be discussing plans for the Singing Angels concert, tree lighting and <br />Menorah lighting. Council President Buckholtz complimented Mrs. Mills on the recent picture <br />in the paper during the Quilt Show. <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Marrelli reported that Architectural Review Board met last <br />Thursday. They had two additions for two homes, one an enclosed porch on Oakwood which <br />was approved and an addition on Wilson Mills which was for an additional bedroom. That was <br />approved. <br />Beautification- Mr. Saponaro reported that the Beautification Committee met on October lst to <br />firm up plans for bulb planting that took place on October 4t". Everything was successful in that <br />endeavor. The next meeting is scheduled for November l Oth. Dr. Parker asked what was decided <br />as far as the height of the benches, was any decision made? Mr. Saponaro said there was no <br />decision made. <br />Board of Aupeals - Mr. Marrelli stated that there was no meeting. There is no report. <br />Cemetery - There is no report. <br />Citizen's Advisorv Board - Mr. Marrie reported that Citizen's Advisory met on the 16th of <br />September. Dr. Price spoke at the meeting about the school levy issue. He filled everyone in. <br />He also advised what would get hurt if the levy fails. The Committee also discussed the gas <br />wells. We discussed it and advised that we were doing everything possible to regulate this and <br />have had meetings so everyone is informed. They also asked about Progressive and they were <br />told it is still on hold. Sandy Batcheller passed out information on the MIPOD which goes <br />through the fire department. <br />Commission on Aging - There was no report. <br />Drainage & Infrastructure/Stormwater Mgt. - Mr. Metzung reported that the projects were <br />completed last week.
