Regular Council Meeting ' 1-26-04 Page 7 , ? north of Highland; Phase 2 is the east side north of Highland; Phase 3 is the west side south of Highland and Phase 4 is the east side. So evens are on the east; odds are on the west. Phase 2 stortn sewers are supposed to be done by the middle of February. By the ides of March, Phase 3 16" water line installation (that's from Highland down south); by April l st, pre-phase storm sewers for Phase 4(so that's east side); by April 30, pave the northbound lanes for Phase 2. North of Highland by May 1St; the road work in and of itself, both lanes should be open. Then by the 21St of May, construction of the Phase 2 bike path (which will be on the east side north of Highland.) Then by June 15, completion of landscaping for Phase 2(that would be road and sidewalk north of Highland.) So by the middle of June, basically north of Highland should be pretty well installed. The starting of Phase 3 begins at the beginning of June. Phase 3 paving- the southbound lanes-the west side from Highland all the way down the Fire Station. That is supposed to be completed by July 7t". By the end of July, Highland Road construction so all the intersection improvemerits are going to be completed there. Commencement of the Phase 4 construction-so the east side south of Highland begins by August 15th. By the 21S` of September, they're hoping to complete Phase 4 paving. All paving should be completed by the end of September-north and south of Highland-both sides. By October 15th, construction of the Phase 4 bike path that's again on the east side so that runs up-especially that section through Whitehaven and by the 15 th of November, landscaping should be in for Phases 3 and 4. Obviously, depending on weather conditions, I think some of those landscaping issues will be very critical-what goes in the fall and what will be going on in the spring. Right now, that is a very ambitious schedule. Given their track record, they've definitely been aggressive in the past. We'll stay tuned. Again, we'll have some kind of flow chart, a gant chart so we'll publish that as 07. soon as we can. . Wage Negotiation CoYnmittee - Mrs. Mills said Mr. Marrie is the Chairman now. Mr. Marrie said we've continued to meet quite often and we're about 95% done with all the wage talks. There are a couple outstanding [items] that need to be finished up, but it's pretty well under wraps. 2020 Vision Mr. Marquardt said there was no report. Information & Technologv Committee - Council President Buckholtz said the new Information & Technology Committee will be meeting this Wednesday so we will have a report for you.
