Regular Council Meeting
2-16-04
Page 14
: -,
? Mr. Samac said yes we have. At the Board of Appeals meeting, the architect submitted the
revised point by point lighting evaluation. The net result was 0 from what was originally
proposed; that encompassed the entire parking area. What it does not take into consideration is
the existing public street lighting on Beta Drive; nor the lighting on his personal property. The
lighting did not change whatsoever.
Mr. Marquardt asked if the resident was aware of that.
Mr. Samac said the resident was made aware of it and we will send him a complete print out of
the point by point evaluation--and if he has any questions, we will sit down with his engineer and
answer them.
Council President Buckholtz said it seems from the meeting I attended that Skoda, Minotti is
doing everything they can to make it work for those people. Down the road, re the problem we
had on the express lanes of the freeway where they put shields up, I would imagine they would
be amicable to anything.
Mr. Samac said yes; there was mention of shields--that if necessary, will take place once they are
up and in operation. If they need to protect the arc, they will be installed.
Council President Buckholtz asked if there were any further comments.
There were none.
Roll Call: AYES: All
NAYS: None Motion Carried
Final Site Plan for Skoda, Minotti Approved
