MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Mayfield Village <br />March 15, 2004 <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in regular session on Monday, March 15, 2004, at <br />8:00 p.m. in the IVlayfield Village Senior Center/Community Room. Council President Bill <br />Buckholtz presided. <br />ROLL CALL: Present: Mr. Buckholtz, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Marquardt, Mr. Marrie <br />Mrs. Mills, Dr. Parker and Mr. Saponaro <br />Absent: Chief Dearden <br />Also Present: Mayor Rinker, Ms. Calta, Mr. Cappello, Mr. Marrelli, <br />Mr. Metzung, Chief Mohr, Mr. Samac, Sgt. Smith, Mr. Thomas <br />and Mrs. Roman <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />AMENDMENT TO AGENDA <br />Council President Buckholtz requested a motion to amend the agenda to remove legislation <br />previously enacted (included under Old Business) and to add a motion for an expenditure to John <br />Palmer under New Business. <br />? <br />Dr. Parker, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to amend the agenda to include the above- <br />mentioned items. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Agenda Amended <br />OPEN PORTION <br />5-minute limit imposed by Chair. Those who wish to speak must first state their name and address. <br />Martine Barnes, 895 Aintree Park Drive, Marlboro Court, Ant. 101, said I have a question <br />regarding a senior van. We don't have one and I think this is something that needs to be addressed. <br />Apparently there are at least 8 people that would like to come to the Senior Gentry meetings on <br />Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1-4 and they have no transportation and nothing is offered. I think this <br />needs to be addressed. <br />Council President Buckholtz said we introduced that at our last Council meeting. Dr. Parker brought <br />it up at Safety and Service and we are reviewing several transportation companies now. We are <br />addressing that. We've wanted to do that for a long time. <br />Mrs. Mills said she talked to Mrs. Kalina about this. For the month of April she will have a report on <br />the busing available in the area for residents. <br />" Mr. Saponaro said I spoke to Cuyahoga County Commissioners Planning Division. There is an <br />organization called Transportation Consortiuin Committee. I am in the process of contacting
