Regular Council Minutes <br />5-17-04 <br />Page 8 <br />Mr. Diemert since it has been amended and submitted to you, you need just a motion to amend to <br />the one you have now. <br />Mr. Marrie, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to amend Ordinance 2004-06. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Amended <br />Mr. Marrie, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to enact Ordinance 2004-06. <br />Council President Buckholtz said this will be in compliance with--- <br />Mr. Diemert this will be in compliance witli the new State law. <br />Mayor Rinker addressed Chief Dearden and asked, please reiterate your understanding of what <br />the change was. <br />Chief Dearden explained that the new Ordinance simply inserted the word "unconcealed" in <br />front of weapons so it would not come into conflict with the new state law and it does permit the <br />carrying concealed weapons if you are a permit holder as long as you aren't in one of the <br />restricted areas as defined by law. <br />Council President Buckholtz said I think we're ready to vote. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />As Amended <br />Third Reading of Ordinance No. 2004-12, entitled; "An emergency ordinance ratifying the <br />Collective Bargaining Agreement between the International Association of Firefighters, Local <br />2619 and the Village of Mayfield." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. (First <br />Reading 3/15/04; Second Reading 4/26/04.) <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2004-12. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />Second Reading of Resolution 2004-08, entitled; "A Resolution declaring the necessity of <br />renewing by levy a tax in excess of the 10-mill limitation and submitting the same to the <br />electorate of Mayfield Village, Ohio."
