And again, worst case scenario is if we had to duplicate it and run <br />more fiber eventually, what's the big deal? This is absolutely free and we can use it for whatever <br />we want to. <br />Mr. Marrie said the only thing that is in our contract is all of our buildings with one exception: <br />the [former] Church is not part of the-- <br />Mr. Diemert said it was not one of our designated buildings before but I think they did put it on. <br />Council President Buckholtz said the memo he sent me is that church will be included which is a <br />biggie. <br />Mr. Marrie said I missed that. <br />Council President Buckholtz said that's why I wanted to put it on tonight because the sooner the <br />better. <br />Health Care Task Force - Mr. Marrie said I am glad to report that our dental plan has been taken <br />care of for our associates in the Village. It is the identical plan that they had before. Nothing <br />was lost. It is through our agent, Jay. It is $1,000/month less than what we were paying so there <br />is a tremendous savings there. Through him also, just to cover the other General Insurance, we <br />have actually increased coverage on a couple of items and we are paying $3,7001ess than what <br />we were last year. I think it was a good choice of Council to take Jay. It has paid off <br />handsomely already. By the way, the one for the-I call it General Insurance if I may-for the <br />whole Village, of the 2 that were proposed, the one that we accepted was a little bit on the higher <br />side-it was the higher of the 2--except it gave a lot more coverage; it gave us much more <br />benefits than the other one did so it was definitely the best policy. <br />OLDJIUSINESS " <br />OPEN PORTION - 3-minute limit imposed by Chair. Introduced by Mayor <br />Rinker and Council as a Whole. (First Reading 5/17/04) <br />Council President Buckholtz said we will leave that on second reading. <br />Third Reading of Resolution 2004-08, entitled; "A Resolution declaring the necessity of <br />renewing by levy a tax in excess of the 10-mill limitation and submitting the same to the <br />( electorate of Mayfield Village, Ohio." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />- (First Reading 3/15/04, Second Readings 4/26/04 & 5/17/04.) <br />Mrs. IVlills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to adopt Resolution 2004-08.
