I Regular Council Minutes 6-28-04 Page 21 Metroparks wall; Upper 40 acres wall; extensive reworki_ng and utility coordination; Metroparks drive relocation; underpass lighting and landscaping; all of that increased from $166,600 to $310,000. Then the construction observation-the scope of the work being revised to reflect additional staff for construction observation, the total work order compensation being increased from $385,000 to $514,000. Modification No. 10 reflects a total increase to the base contract in the amount of $272,300. Council President Buckholtz said and this is for Modification No. 10. Mr. Diemert confirmed and Council President Buckholtz asked, any further questions? There were no comments. ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Ordinance Enacted First Readiniz of Ordinance No. 2004-30, entitled; "An emergency ordinance authorizing an agreement with Guardian as and for an Employee Dental Program." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Rules Suspended Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2004-30. Council President Buckholtz asked, any further questions? Mrs. Mills asked if we could notify the employees about this. Council President Buckholtz replied absolutely. Mrs. Mills asked, Donna, will you handle this please? Mrs. Roman replied yes. Dr. Parker said it is not a part of this but we are getting information regarding an increase in the life insurance, too. Mr. Marrie said we have asked them---it was one of the questions that came up during Wage Negotiations and an increase in life Insurance for our associates from $10,000 to $20,000. But that is not in that one. Mrs. Mills said because Phil did not know what the cost would be.
