<br />Regular Council Minutes <br />7-19-04 <br />Page 11 <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />Resolution No. 2004-19, entitled; "A Resolution of Appreciation to Bernie Samac." Introduced <br />by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Saponaro, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 2004-19. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />NAYS: None <br />1 <br />OPEN PORTION - 3 minute limit imposed by Chair. Those who wish to speak must first state <br />their name and address. This open portion is limited to discussion pertaining to the items under <br />"New Business" only. <br />ANY OTHER MATTER THAT MAY COME BEFORE COUNCIL <br />Mrs. Cinco asked what is happening with street striping bids. <br />Mr. Cappello said we will advertise and it will be on the next agenda for approval. <br />CLOSING COMMENTS <br />Mrs. Cinco said regarding Dr. Price's proclamation, I don't remember us getting a resolution of <br />appreciation from the School Board [or anyone] before. That was really nice. <br />Mayor Rinker asked, when was the last time we sent someone to the Leadership Academy? <br />Mr. Marrie said he went two years ago. <br />Mayor Rinker said good. Glad we've got two going this time. It is a nice opportunity to see <br />what's out there. <br />Council President Buckholtz said if anyone needs to get in touch with me in the next 3 weeks, I <br />will be out of the country [Africa.] Everyone extended wishes for a safe trip. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to adjoui~. <br />Marge Eisenberg of Seneca Road, (in the audience) said I would like to invite you to ride behind <br />J&J Refuse to see the rubbish they leave behind. My street looks like a tornado hit it. <br />Everybody is out there sweeping up and picking up all the rubbish that has blown that has not <br />been picked up. It is worse than the last one that we had so I invite you to ride down the street <br />after they've been down and please look for yourself. <br />
