Regular Council Minutes <br />8-16-04 <br />Page 1 <br />MINUTES OF A REGULAR MEETING OF COUNCIL <br />Mayfield Village <br />August 16, 2004 <br />The Council of Mayfield Village met in regular session on Monday, August 16, 2004 <br />at approximately 8:45 p.m. in the Mayfield Village Senior Center/Community Room following <br />the Council Caucus. Council President Bill Buckholtz presided. <br />ROLL CALL: Present: Mr. Buckholtz, Mrs. Cinco, Mr. Marquardt, Mr. Marrie <br />and Dr. Parker <br />Absent: Mrs. Mills and Mr. Saponaro <br />Also Present: Mayor Rinker, Mr. Brett, Mr. Cappello, Chief Dearden, <br />Mr. Diemert, Mr. Marrelli, Mr. Metzung, Chief Mohr, Mr. Thomas <br />and Mrs. Roman <br />The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag was given. <br />OPEN PORTION <br />5-minute limit imposed by Chair. Those who wish to speak must first state their name and address. <br />There were no comments. <br />CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES <br />Public Hearing of Council -June 28, 2004 <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Dr. Parker, made a motion to approve the minutes. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />Regular Council Meetin~y 19, 2004- as corrected <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Dr. Parker, made a motion to approve the minutes. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Minutes Approved <br />COMMENTS FROM MAYOR RINKER <br />Mayor Rinker said I think it was about a week or so ago a famous French photographer, Henri <br />Cartier- Bresson, 95-years old passed away. You may well ask: why would I mention his name? <br />Well, he had a famous phrase for taking strategic photographs called The Decisive Moment and <br />really some dramatic pictures where the decisive moment was quite compelling.
