Regular Council Minutes <br />8-16-04 <br />Page 11 <br />There were no comments. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 2004-21, entitled; "An emergency resolution authorizing <br />the donation of $18,750.00 to the Mayfield City School District." Introduced by Mayor <br />Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mr. Marquardt, seconded by Dr. Parker, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 2004-21. <br />Dr. Parker said this is pending receipt of the check from Adelphia. <br />Mr. Diemert said he thinks the Finance Director will take notice of that per the minutes. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted (pending receipt by <br />MV of the check from Adelphia <br />OPEN PORTION - 3 minute limit imposed by Chair. Those who wish to speak must first state <br />their name and address. This open portion is limited to discussion pertaining to the items under <br />"New Business" only. <br />There were no comments. <br />ANY OTHER MATTER THAT MAY COME BEFORE COUNCIL <br />There were no other matters for Council's consideration. <br />CLOSING COMMENTS <br />Chief Dearden said with the traffic pattern and transition on S.O.M., we have been monitoring <br />since Friday and will continue to do so over the next few years, the need to have officers <br />manually run traffic signals at Wilson Mills and S.O.M. during the morning and afternoon rush <br />hours and at lunchtime, we should know by Wednesday or Thursday---as to whether that is <br />necessary for the duration of this part of the project. <br />
