Regular Council Minutes
8-16-04
Page 5

1

OLD BUSINESS
Second Reading of Ordinance No. 2004-33, entitled; "An emergency ordinance authorizing
the Mayor to enter into a network services agreement with ONECLEVELAND for the purpose
of providing high speed data communications/Il' based connectivity." Introduced by Mayor
Rinker and Council as a Whole. (First Reading 7/19/04)
Ordinance 2004-33 was given second reading.
OPEN PORTION - 3 minute limit imposed by Chair. Those who wish to speak must first state
their name and address. This open portion is limited to discussion pertaining to the items under
"Old Business" only.
Marge Eisenberg, 6782 Seneca Road, thanked Mr. Metzung for resolving the trash issue; it is a
little bit better. I did notice that someone was following the rubbish truck around today. I thought
we had ordinances on the book to maintain some stability in the Village. I see trucks, I see lawn
equipment, I see boats, I see all kinds of things parked. I thought we had an ordinance against
that. If we don't, we need one. And if we have one, we need to enforce it. In my neighborhood
we have a house that needs something done with it; I've talked to Mr. Marrelli about it and I
think it is not going to be resolved unless Council does something about it. I would like to
resolve it and maintain the houses and the sanctity of the Village.
Council President Buckholtz said I know the police is always cruising looking for those vehicles
and we have cited people who continue to do so. We do have an ordinance for that.
Council President Buckholtz said I need a motion to amend the agenda to include the resolution
regarding the Ohio Police and Fire Pension Fund.
AMENDMENT TO AGENDA
Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to amend the agenda to include Resolution
2004-22 amending and restating the existing pick-up contributions of Mayfield Village regarding
the Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund.
Roll Call: AYES: All
NAYS: None
Motion Carried
Agenda Amended
First Reading of Resolution No. 2004-22, entitled; "A Resolution amending and restating the
existing pick up contributions of Mayfield Village regarding the Ohio Police & Fire Pension Fund.
Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole.
Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Dr. Parker made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an
Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions.
Motion Carried
Rules Suspended
