Regular Council Minutes
9-27-04
Page 19
Mrs. Cinco said Joe and I were talking about this a little bit but I remember the discussions when we
Mr. Cappello said if you are talking about Aberdeen, there really hasn't been any time lag. These are
all new streets. I am not aware of the city being imposed on any maintenances as of yet-maybe in
the future.
brought up that PUD ordinance, a former Councilperson had brought up the fact that in Highland
Heights with all those condos over there that it did become a burden on the city. That Highland
Heights now in retrospect felt they should not have been dedicated streets for those kind of
developments. This is not a large street.
Mayor Rinker said I think the Fire Department has looked at it as well-for overall turning
radius---
Chief Mohr said we talked. to Steven and have worked with Tom. We are satisfied; we would
rather see this as a street for turning radius.
Council President Buckholtz said the safety forces had commented on that at P&Z. As far as
plowing, Doug? This is not a problem.
Mr. Metzung said we don't maintain the apartments but we do plow other roads.
Mrs. Cinco asked, you plow Upper 40 too?
Mr. Metzung said no; only when requested.
Mayor Rinker said we try to be accommodating.
Mr. Saponaro said that was the only question I had.
Council President Buckholtz said it was my understanding that they had been talking about
dedicating it all along. I don't know that we were all made aware of it---
Mrs. Cinco said as the Mayor said, linear feet is quite a lot...
Mr. Marrie, seconded by Mrs. Mills made a motion to approve the final development plan for
S.O.M. Court ref. 670 S.O.M. Center Road (temp.) contingent upon Building Department's Receipt
of Homeowners' Association Rules and Regulations prior to issuance of building permit (Krenzler
property.)
ROLL CALL: AYES: All
NAYS: None Motion Carried
Final Development Plan Approved
• A motion to authorize Mayor Rinker's appointment of Philip M. Brett, Director of
Finance/Economic Development and Annette Harrison, Assistant Finance Director as
the Mayfield Village Delegate and Alternate Delegate, respectively, to the Regional
Council of Governments
