Regular Council Minutes 10-18-04 Page 17 Mrs. Cinco addressed Mr. Diemert and asked about the liquor permit request. Mrs. Mills said it is for a C-1; if they are a basket company they probably make up baskets and want to put wine in it. They can't do that unless they have a license to do that. Mrs. Cinco said I thought we were out of licenses. Mrs. Mills said it is not acarry-out; it is for resale. Mrs. Roman said I just got that today but wanted to distribute it because we only have 30 days. Mrs. Mills said it is for a C-1 but I don't know what a C-1 is. Mr. Diemert said I don't know either off the top of my head. I would guess what your explanation is is what it is; I don't even know what is there at this point. It says the corporation is the Ad Exchange. Is that Dr. Parker's building? Dr. Parker said this is the first I had seen it. I know they have another company that makes baskets up and can only assume they want to put wine in the basket. But this is the first I have seen of it. I tried to make a phone call before the meeting but I can't add anything to it. Council President Buckholtz addressed Mr. Diemert and asked, will you check on the C-1 if it is anything to be concerned about other than just simply retail baskets. Mr. Diemert said yes and I will object just for the record in the meantime in case there is a problem. Mayor Rinker said just one final word to 2020. Already I have seen it in P&Z, I have seen it in Council, Citizen's Advisory and just frankly on the street in general, people are aware of the work already of 2020 and the thoughts that have been expressed. We are looking at certain things with Beta, just looking at what's going on with the corridor work, really it is nice to see everybody is much more aware. That alone is a very good benefit.
