Regular Council Minutes <br />11-15-04 <br />Page 5 <br />Citizen's Advisory Board <br />Mr. Saponaro said our next meeting is November 22 at 7 p.m. We will discuss putting a letter to <br />the citizens regarding everyone's responsibility to clean trash and garbage from their property <br />(this is for property owners not only the residents-it is for businesses also.) We will probably <br />send that out at the beginning of next year with any other items that come up. <br />Commission on Aging <br />Mrs. Mills read the report from Mrs. Kalina (attached.) <br />Drainage & Infrastructure/Stormwater Mgt. <br />There was no report. <br />Safety and Service <br />Mr. Marrie reported for Mrs. Cinco: The items the Committee discussed included the contract for <br />the police phones, repair of sidewalks, Ordinance 2004-48 (re public hiking and biking trails) <br />and relamping of the street lamps at North Commons and Parkview. Doug explained that a lot of <br />the lamps had burned out and needed to be relamped. <br />Finance Committee <br />Mrs. Mills said Finance met this evening and all 13 items were recommended for approval. We <br />also discussed the 1976 mini pumper. We can discuss the items as we go through the agenda. <br />Historical Society <br />Mrs. Mills said 396 guests attended the Historical Society's biannual Quilt Show. One hundre <br />thirty quilts and quilted articles were shown. Mrs. Linda Tchou won the Quilt and Mrs. Pat <br />Suppes won the table cloth. The Regional Historical Society meeting was well attended and <br />discussions included membership finances and promoting local interest in their own <br />communities. The Turkey Raffle is November 20; the Christmas Potluck is December 8. <br />M.A.R.C. <br />Mr. Saponaro said there was no report. <br />d <br />Ordinance Review Committee <br />Council President Buckholtz said they did not meet. <br />Planning and Zoning <br />Mr. Marrelli said Planning & Zoning will meet Thursday. At our last meeting was approval of <br />Mr. Carney's building, the shed for the High School and that was about it. <br />Mrs. Mills questioned Conditional Use Permits and Mr. Marrelli said that will be discussed on <br />Thursday-we will go over some of the issues for the Special Use Permits and Conditional Use <br />Permits. <br />
