Regular Council Minutes 11-15-04 • Page 9 are not adding it. It will be as needed. I think a great amount of thanks go to 2 people who did a tremendous amount of footwork and helped us through this in running a lot of data through. One is Chief Mohr and Lieutenant Edelman. They did a lot of footwork in the background for the wiring, telephone and cellular phone issues. I think we owe them both athank-you. 1 OLD BUSINESS • December Meeting Schedule Mr. Mamie suggested having Caucus and the Regular Council Meeting on one night in December because of the holidays. The 6th or 13 were recommended dates. Council President Buckholtz said I have no problem with doing both on one night. Typically I'd defer to Mr. Brett, Mayor Rinker and some of the department heads. Mr. Marrelli said I should have the cost estimates by the 13tH It was decided there will be a combined Caucus/Regular Meeting on December 13th and the Safety & Service and Finance meetings will be combined at 7:15 p.m. Important Note: Per discussion later during the meeting, the date was changed to DECEMBER 6. OPEN PORTION - 3 minute limit imposed by Chair. Those who wish to speak must first state their name and address. This open portion is limited to discussion pertaining to the items under "Old Business" only. There were no comments. NEW BUSINESS • A motion to authorize an expenditure not to exceed $5,000 to R.L. Greene for repair of sidewalks in the Aintree Park Area (Pilot Program) Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Mamie, made a motion to authorize an expenditure not to exceed $5,000 to R.L. Greene for repair of sidewalks in the Aintree Park Area (Pilot Program.) ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Expenditure Authorized A motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of $12,653.16 to Verizon (replacing contracts with Nextel & Alltel for Building, Finance, Service, Police, Fire and Recreation Departments.)
