Regular Council Meeting Minutes <br />1-20-09 <br />Page 16 <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 2009-01, entitled, "An Emergency Ordinance establishing a <br />public bidding procedure for design-build bids for construction of the Village's new police <br />station." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Saponaro, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2009-01. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. <br />Mr. Marquardt asked if we have a specification package drawn up. Mayor Rinker replied <br />not to his knowledge. Mr. Marquardt asked if they will get to review that once it is drawn <br />up. Mayor Rinker said, yes. Council President Buckholtz asked if the design-build is not <br />just putting an amount out there and saying, here's what we are building? We need to <br />include some factors.
