Regular Council Meeting Minutes <br />9-21-09 <br />Page 3 <br />? <br />1 <br /> <br /> <br />Regular Council Meeting - August 17, 2009 <br />CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES : <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Saponaro, made a motion to approve the minutes as written. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Minutes Approved <br />COMMENTS FROM MAYOR RINKER: <br />There were no comments <br />COMMENTS FROM COUNCIL PRESIDENT BUCKHOLTZ: <br />There were no comments. <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS: <br />SERVICE - Douglas Metzung <br />Mr: Metzung reported that tomorrow at 5:18 p.m. marks the beginning of Autumn which means <br />leaf pick-up. We are tentatively scheduled to start October 19t' until mid-December. <br />BUILDING - John Marrelli <br />There was no separate report this evening. <br />ENGINEERING = Tom Cappello <br />Mr. Cappello reported that the Seneca Road project is moving along. They need to wait until <br />about approximately next week to finish the resurfacing. Hopefully that project will be done by <br />the end of the month or the beginning of October. What they have left to do is adjust the <br />manhole castings. After that, then they will do the surface course. <br />On the Thornapple pump station project, Mr. Cappello is still waiting to hear back from the <br />contractor if they are going to plan on starting this year. As soon as he hears he will forward that <br />information to the Mayor and Council. <br />LEGAL DEPARTMENT - Mr. Diemert <br />There was nothing to repoit.
