Regular Council Meeting Minutes <br />12-21-09 <br />Page 18 <br />Motion to authorize transfer from the Police Operating Fund to the General Fund <br />the sum of Fifty-Nine Thousand Dollars ($59,000.00). <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to authorize transfer from the Police <br />Operating Fund to the General Fund the sum of Fifty-Nine Thousand Dollars ($59,000.00). <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. <br />Mr. .Wynne replied this is the same discussion as the Pension Fund. These are real estate tax <br />dollars earmarked for police operating expenses. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Transfer Authorized <br />Motion to authorize transfer from the General Fund to the Performance Bond Fund <br />the sum of Seventeen Thousand 'Iwo Hundred Forly-Three Dollars and Forty- <br />Three Cents ($17,243.43). Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to authorize transfer from the General Fund <br />to the Performance Bond Fund the sum of Seventeen Thousand Two Hundred Forty-Three <br />Dollars and Forty-T'hree Cents ($17,243.43). <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. <br />Mr. Wynne replied that the Performance Bond Fund is something that John's group maintains. <br />These are bonds that are put forth for projects that are being worked on. Over the years, there <br />have been some invoices that have come in that should have went against those bonds but were <br />not properly posted. This is the amount we need to transfer to make sure the balance in that fund <br />is sufficient to cover the bonds that we might need to refund when the project is completed. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Catried <br />Transfer Authorized <br />Motion to authorize transfer from the General Fund to the Sanitary Sewer Relief <br />Fund the sum of <br />($ ) <br />Mr. Wynne put this on just for discussion purposes. Historically, the Village has always <br />transferred $200,000.00 from the General Fund to this fund. This amount was not budgeted to <br />be transferred this year.
