Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />January 30, 2006 <br />Page 19 <br /> <br /> <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2006-01. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. Mr. Marquardt clarified that an <br />additional eligibility requirement for this program is fair market value up to $250,000.00 on a <br />single family home. It is only available for those with fair market value up to $250,000.00. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 2006-02, entitled "An emergency resolution in support of <br />House Bill No. 293 to authorize Boards of County Commissioners to establish property tax <br />payment linked deposit programs to assist senior citizens and permanently and totally disabled <br />citizens in paying property taxes on their homesteads." Introduced by Mayor and Council as a <br />Whole. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Saponaro, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 2006-02. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. There were no comments. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br /> <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 2006-03, entitled "An emergency resolution in support of <br />House Bill No. 294 establishing a process to expedite foreclosure problems that currently exist." <br />Introduced by Mayor and Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Cinco, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 2006-03. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. There were no comments. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />Council did not go in to Executive Session as there were no items to discuss. <br />ANY OTHER ITEMS BEFORE COUNCIL <br />There were no other items before Council.
