Mr. Saponaro indicated <br />it was for the ceiling tiles in Civic Hall and Administrative offices. Mr. Metzung added that the <br />ceiling tiles were one of the biggest ticket items. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />A motion to authorize acceptance of the proposal of Albert Herman Draperies, Inc. <br />in the amount of $5,474.48 for window treatments (stationary side panels with <br />valances) for Civic Hall. <br />? <br /> <br />This motion will be stricken as the motion below was for the same item. The proposal of Globe <br />Drapery was accepted at finance. <br />A motion to authorize acceptance of the proposal of Globe Drapery, Inc. in the <br />amount of $5,398.50 for window treatments (stationary side panels with <br />corneceboard) for Civic Hall. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to authorize acceptance of the proposal of <br />Globe Drapery, Inc. in the amount of $5,398.50 for window treatments (stationary side panels <br />with corneceboard) for Civic Hall. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />Mayor Rinker thanked everyone for passing the expenditures for improvements at Civic Hall. <br />Residents have been providing wonderful feedback each time someone comes in and sees a little <br />bit more touches being added to the building. We are getting consistently rave reviews. If we <br />time this well, we think that by the appreciation dinner, this place is really going to look good. <br />The goal is to make the cosmetic changes which axe really cost-effective. The big ticket issue we <br />will be looking at over the months ahead will involve a more ambitious project with the Civic <br />Center Auditorium. That will take us several months just to arrive at plan. It will probably not be <br />until next year that we will look at anything serious there. This is nice in the interim before we <br />really see what direction we take this building. The improvements we are making now are <br />making this a wonderful place to work and visit.
