Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />February 27, 2006 <br />Page 14 <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 2006-02, entitled "An emergency ordinance creating certain <br />positions and compensation therefore relevant to the summer camp program." Introduced by <br />Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2006-02. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. There was no discussion. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 2006-03, "An emergency ordinance establishing the Parkview <br />Swimming Pool Employees Salary for the 2006 Season." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and <br />Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2006-03. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if this was the same as last year. Mr. Thomas indicated that we <br />might need to look at additional compensation at the end of the season. We are going to be losing <br />a lot of staff. We try to encourage them to stay through Labor Day. Council President Buckholtz <br />asked if we are going to try and attempt the same thing as last year with the extended hours and <br />days. Mr. Thomas indicated that we will and that we might have to increase the amount a little bit <br />due to this and as an incentive. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br /> <br /> <br />7 <br />?
