Special Council Minutes <br />5/9/06 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 2006-07, "An emergency resolution declaring it necessary <br />to improve Highland Road and certain other designated streets between certain termini by <br />constructing sanitary sewers, and replacing, where necessary, pavement and driveway aprons, all <br />together with the necessary appurtences thereto". Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a <br />Whole. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 2006-07. <br />Mr. Buckholtz stated we would need a motion to suspend on this. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marrie made a motion to suspend. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion to Suspend Carried <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Saponaro made a motion to approve. <br />Mr. Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. <br />Mr. Buckholtz asked Mr. Cappello if this was to go out to bid. <br />Mr. Cappello said yes. This is just the process because this is an assessment project. It is a <br />resolution of necessity. <br />Mayor Rinker wanted to know if notices would go out to residents. <br />Mr. Cappello said yes. <br />Mayor Rinker wanted to know whether Mr. Cappello or the Village would be issuing the letters. <br />Mr. Cappello said from the Village. <br />Mayor Rinker suggested a meeting notification to go out with that, for questions concerning this. <br />Mayor Rinker will get together with Jeff Thomas tomorrow to put just a little cover note with the <br />letter. Mayor Rinker said a meeting should be set up within the next two weeks, that way we <br />could meet with residents and get them in on the ground floor as to what we think the timetable <br />is going to be. <br />Mr. Buckholtz asked how long the bidding period was. <br />Mr. Cappello replied two weeks. <br />Mayor Rinker stated that by the next regular meeting on June 12, 2006, he thinks it would <br />behoove us to have the meeting to get residents in tune with the fact of these specific issues. <br />We'll get Mr. Marrelli of the Building Department to get people aware of what the laterals will
