Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />May 22, 2006 <br />Page 3 <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS: <br />SERVICE - Douglas Metzung <br />Mr. Metzung reported that the fencing is nearly complete on S.O.M. Center Road. There <br />is an additional $5,000.00 for fencing along the north side of the historical house on the agenda <br />this evening. <br />Mr. Metzung met with experts to come to a resolution regarding the trees on S.O.M. <br />Center Road. <br />The pool is filled and progressing nicely. <br /> <br /> <br />BUILDING - John Marrelli <br />Mr. Marrelli reported that the Whitehaven offices are beginning to disassemble and <br />reassemble quickly. He expected it to be done by the end of the month, but instead it won't be <br />wrapped up until the middle of June. <br />Mr. Marrelli also reported that with regaxd to the Village of Mayfield Apartments, <br />pernuts were issued to the first two of 23 buildings to start on the exterior repairs. <br />ENGINEERING - Tom Cappello <br />Mr. Cappello reported that the construction ori Wilson Mills Road is on schedule for <br />reopening June 15th. The River Road Bridge work has been postponed until next year. <br />PROPERTY MANAGER - Llovd Chapman <br />Mr. Chapman reported that there are meetings scheduled this week from representatives <br />from Heinen's to discuss their intended expansion and how that might impact us at their location <br />in Mayfield Village. Meetings are also scheduled to discuss landscaping and other issues related <br />to Musca Mall. <br />Mr. Chapman also reported that the Kennedys signed their contract last week for the <br />acquisition of their property. <br />LEGAL DEPARTMENT - Mr. Diemert <br />Mr. Diemert reported that they have the executed contract from Mr. Kennedy. It was a <br />late add-on to the agenda today.
