Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council June 12, 2006 Page 22 Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Rules Suspended Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2006-22 Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. There was no comment. First Reading of Resolution No. 2006-09, "An emergency resolution declaring the Village's 1992 Emergency One 75-foot ladder truck as surplus and authorizing its sale to the City of Highland Heights". Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. Mr. Marrie seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to suspend. Mr. Marrie, seconded by Mr. Saponaro, made a motion to approve Resolution No. 2006-08. Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. Mr. Brett stated that for informational purposes, it is being sold for $150,000.00. Mr. Marrie added that this is $25,000.00 more than what we were going to get on trade-in. ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Resolution Adopted EXECUTIVE SESSION Litigation Real Estate Mr. Buckholtz indicated that there are no items to discuss for Executive Session. CLOSING COldIME1VTS Mr. Buckholtz asked if there were any other comments. Mr. Marrie thanked all of the associates in the Village, Service, Police, Administration, etc. for the outstanding job of 50's Night. Everyone did a great job. He got up the next morning after that huge crowd at 8:00 for church and you could not find anything. Mr. Buckholtz added that they worked all night. Mr. Marrie indicated that you would never know there was anything the next day. Also, the police had everything under control at the corners. There was no chance someone was going to get hit.
