Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />June 12, 2006 <br />Page 22 <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2006-22 <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. There was no comment. <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 2006-09, "An emergency resolution declaring the Village's <br />1992 Emergency One 75-foot ladder truck as surplus and authorizing its sale to the City of <br />Highland Heights". Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mr. Marrie seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to suspend. <br />Mr. Marrie, seconded by Mr. Saponaro, made a motion to approve Resolution No. 2006-08. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. <br />Mr. Brett stated that for informational purposes, it is being sold for $150,000.00. Mr. Marrie <br />added that this is $25,000.00 more than what we were going to get on trade-in. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />Litigation <br />Real Estate <br />Mr. Buckholtz indicated that there are no items to discuss for Executive Session. <br />CLOSING COldIME1VTS <br />Mr. Buckholtz asked if there were any other comments. <br />Mr. Marrie thanked all of the associates in the Village, Service, Police, Administration, <br />etc. for the outstanding job of 50's Night. Everyone did a great job. He got up the next morning <br />after that huge crowd at 8:00 for church and you could not find anything. Mr. Buckholtz added <br />that they worked all night. Mr. Marrie indicated that you would never know there was anything <br />the next day. Also, the police had everything under control at the corners. There was no chance <br />someone was going to get hit. <br /> <br /> <br />
