Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council
June 12, 2006
Page 23
Mr. Marrie also discussed the Hatch Report which is distributed listing all new people
who have moved in to the Village. When someone moves in to the Village and you don't know
they are here, it would be nice to welcome them. Mr. Marrie suggested that Council should
receive a copy of this Report. Mrs. Cinco agreed. Mr. Buckholtz asked Mrs. Betsa if Council
could receive the Hatch Report. Mrs. Betsa will make arrangements for distribution. Mr.
Saponaro suggested that a welcome section be placed in the Voice of the Village. Mrs. Mills
added that Ralph Vara usually takes a Village package to the new residents. Mr. Marrie indicated
that that is great, but Council should be aware of new residents so that they can welcome them in
to the Village if they so choose. Also, having it in the Voice of the Village lets others know who
is new in the neighborhood.
Mr. Saponaro wanted to publicly advise Mr. Thomas that his staff at the pool is
outstanding. Mr. Thomas did a great job of hiring. The pool is very inviting, everyone is
welcomed and positive feedback comes back from everyone regarding staff and lifeguaxds.
Mrs. Cinco indicated that initially discussed at Safety and Service was going out to bid
for street striping and the information forwarded by Chief Mohr regarding Highway Advisory
Radios.
Dr. Parker asked for an update regarding the plan for Beech Hill, Bonnieview, Glenview
streets. Mr. Metzung indicated that our road dollars this year are going in to the roads that are
having the sewers constructed on them. Those streets will be reconstructed, ground and asphalted.
Dr. Parker asked if at this point we are still on hold. Mr. Metzung responded that as fax as Seneca
and Glenview are concerned, yes, but we will be doing in-house patching as best we can this
year. We have a beautiful new machine coming in any day now that will help maintain them.
Those should be next year's top of the list projects.
ADJOURNMENT
Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marrie made a motion to adjourn.

The meeting adjourned at approximately 9:25 p.m.
scheduled for JAv 17, 2006 at 8:00 p.m. /
WILLIAM BUCKHOLTZ, COUNCIL
The next Caucus/Council meeting is
ACTING CLERK OF COUNCIL
