Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />June 12, 2006 <br />Page 7 <br />PARKS & RECREATION - Bill Thomas <br />Mr. Thomas reported that we are using the new parking lot next to South of Parkview. <br />Everything went very well tonight. <br />STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />Activities Committee - Mrs. Mills thanked everyone that helped at 50's night. It was a great <br />turnout. The music was wonderful. Fourth of July is all planned out. Stunmer concerts start this <br />Thursday at 7:00 p.m. <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Marrelli reported that Architectural Review Board met at a <br />special meeting on June lst with a resident on Ridgebury to try to work out some details on his <br />home. They met again on June 8t' and approved an addition on Metropark Drive and an addition <br />on Seneca. <br />Beautification Committee - Mr. Saponaro reported that no meeting has been held since the last <br />Council meeting. The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, June 19th at 7:00 p.m. <br />Board of Anpeals - Mr. Marrelli reported that there was no meeting, so there is no report. <br />Cemeterv - Mrs. Mills reported that we received the renewal policy on their insurance which <br />Mr. Brett is taking care of. <br />Citizen's Advisorv Board - Mr. Saponaro reported that there was no meeting since the last <br />Council meeting. The next meeting is scheduled for June 26h at 7:00 p.m. <br />Commission on Alzing - Mrs. Mills indicated that the report will be attached to the Minutes. <br />Mrs. Mills also noted that the Mayor is now an honorary member of the Board for Meals on <br />Wheels. <br />Drainage & Infrastructure/Stormwater Mgt. - Mrs. Cinco reported that there is an item on <br />the agenda tonight with regard to the sewers. <br />Safety and Service - Mrs. Cinco reported that Safety and Service met this evening. Those <br />items are on the agenda and will be discussed as they come up. <br />Finance Committee - Mr. Saponaro reported that Finance met this evening. Sixteen items were <br />discussed, fourteen of which we have agreed to approve. The other two items we would like to <br />discuss further on the floor. <br />Historical Society - Mrs. Mills reported that tomorrow night they will be going out to <br />Chesterland to visit a light company to see exactly what he is talking about as far as lumens to <br />illuminate the historical house. Mrs. Mills is a little concerned about the company chosen as <br />they have quite a few incandescent lamps that they want to project on the house and it may cause
