Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />June 12, 2006 <br />Page 9 <br /> <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. <br />Mr. Metzung indicated that this is the wetland monitoring. Discussion was had at previous <br />meetings with regard to the URS proposal. We requested proposals and Burgess & Niple came <br />in with the lowest bid. Mr. Metzung met with them today. They have all of the tools and <br />materials needed. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />Motion to authorize expenditure in an amount not to exceed $20,000 to Van Ness <br />Stone Company for stone products for Aintree North Gateway and other various <br />projects in the Village. <br />Amended to Read: <br />Motion to authorize expenditure in an amount not to exceed $20,000 to Van Ness <br />Stone Company for stone products for various projects throughout Mayfield <br />Village. <br /> <br />Mr. Saponaro explained that the amount and vendor are the same, however, the language to the <br />motion was amended to read "various projects throughout Mayfield Village" as opposed to just <br />Aintree North Gateway. <br />Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Mr. Cinco, made a motion to authorize expenditure in an amount not <br />to exceed $20,000 to Van Ness Stone Company for stone products for various projects <br />throughout Mayfield Village. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if this was continuing the concept of keeping like materials <br />throughout the Village. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />Motion to authorize expenditure in an amount not to exceed $6,000.00 to Northcoast <br />Signs for signs for the Aintree North Gateway. <br />Mrs. Mills indicated that there was a discussion about this. Mr. Metzung asked if everyone got a <br />copy of the picture of the Woodgate Farms. We are discussing the sign part of the gateway <br />farms. He does not know what this is made out of, but the people that we purchase our gateway <br />signs throughout the Village from have a product that they make that is actually a cast piece of <br />foam that is sprayed with a metal production that gives it that look of stamped metal. This was <br />taken in to them for an estimate of how much this sign would cost. He estimated in the <br />$2,000.00 range apiece. Mr. Metzung requested that if we are going to use this sign for Aintree
