Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />July 17, 2006 <br />Page 15 <br /> <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Saponaro, made a motion to authorize expenditure in the amount of <br />$1,000.00 to Midwest Paving and Materials of Cleveland, Ohio, representing total amount due of <br />$62,000.00 for ballfield parking lot ($61,000.00 approved by Council on 4/24/06). <br />Mr. Metzung explained that Mr. Cappello had not had a chance to review the invoice they <br />submitted. He found a few errors which were clarified. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />Motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of $2,800.00 to Midwest Paving <br />for paving Ricky Christian's driveway at 510 S.O.M. Center Road. <br /> <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to authorize expenditure in the amount of <br />$2,800.00 to Midwest Paving for paving Ricky Christian's driveway at 510 S.O.M. Center Road. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />Mr. Marquardt asked why we were paying for this. Mr. Metzung explained that this was the <br />section from the S.O.M. Center project from beyond the drive apron back beyond where the gas <br />and the water line came through. For whatever reason it did not get paved as part of the <br />construction. Everyone else's did. Mr. Buckholtz added that there were a lot of negotiations <br />going on at that point. He was the only one who did not get put back together: <br />Motion to authorize expenditure in an amount not to exceed $5,000.00 to Road <br />Solutions for liquid de-icer. <br /> <br />Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Mrs. Mills made a motion to authorize expenditure in an amount not <br />to exceed $5,000.00 to Road Solutions for liquid de-icer. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. Mr. Metzung reported that <br />ODOT puts salt grime on the roadway before the storm. This material mixes with it. It is highly <br />recommended. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />
