Regular Council Meeting <br />12/ 18/06 <br />Page 15 <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 2006-53, entitled, "An Emergency Ordinance authorizing and <br />directing the Mayor to enter into a Lease Agreement with John J. Murphy and Cathlyn S. <br />Murphy for the purpose of leasing the real estate located at 6484 Wilson Mills Road, Mayfield <br />Village, Ohio." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to suspend the rules of Coun <br />requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />cil <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2006-53. <br />Council President Buckholtz stated that this is as amended. <br />Ms. Calta explained that it will include the change to acknowledge that the cable services would be <br />the responsibility of the tenants and also to acknowledge the sublease to Doreen DiFiore and that <br />the Village would consent to the sublease, but no further subleases. <br />Mayor Rinker explained to the students that we have just purchased a house on Wilson Mills <br />next to Raleigh Drive, the idea being that we may relocate the street, bump it one house to the <br />east so that it lines up to the light at Beta. It is kind of like the high school driveway next to the <br />library. It is kind of a traffic mess. This gives us the option to be able to do it. There is someone <br />who is renting the house right now, so we will make sure that the renters are protected for a <br />while, but if things go as we plan, we will be tearing the house down next year. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />CLOSING COMMENTS <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted as Amended <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there were any additional comments. <br />Mr. Thomas mentioned to the students that if they reside in Mayfield Village, they. can <br />purchase a monthly pass during the holidays.if you wanted to work out at the Progressive Fitness <br />Center for $30.00. <br />Chief Dearden wished all a Happy Holidays. <br />Mr. Cappello wished everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. <br />Mr. Marquardt asked Mr. Metzung if we have any new ideas for the Aintree North sign. <br />Mr. Metzung indicated that we have come up with possibly getting some bronze type paint that <br />we could use on the raised part.
