He hopes that the Ohio Senate does the right thing by it because <br />it took a lot to establish this agreement to have free cable access for the students, schools and <br />communities. Why Time Warner is trying to revoke the agreement that we had with Adelphia, <br />he is not quite sure. But, there are a few programs at the schools that they are talking about <br />sus:pending or doing away with. <br />Mr. Brett added that this will also have an impact on the Village and its control over cable <br />franchises and its revenue. <br />First Reading of Resolution No. 2007-08, entitled "A resolution opposing the quarterly <br />customer service charge. imposed by the City of Cleveland on water bills and declaring an <br />emergency." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 2007-08. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Resolution Adopted <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. There were no comments. <br />Fiirst Reading of Resolution No. 2007-09, entitled "A resolution opposing the substantial <br />increase in cable television rates by Time Warner Cable and declaring an emergency." <br />Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mirs.
