Minutes of the Council Meeting October 22, 2007 Page 7 Records Commission - Mrs. Mills reported that the commission will be going out to NDCL this Wednesday for the mandated training session run by the Attorney General's office. The next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 7th at 1:00 p.m. OLD BVSINESS OPEN PORTION - 3 minute limit imposed by Chair: Those who wish to speak must first state their name and address. This open portion is limited to discussion pertaining to the items under "Old Business" only. There were no comments. NEW. BiJSINESS' Motion to authorize expenditure in the amount of $8,289.00 to Erie Street Theatrical for additional stage equipment in auditorium (Change Order #3). Mrs. Mills, seconded by Dr. Parker; made a motion to authorize expenditure in the amount of $8,289.00 to Erie Street Theatrical for additional stage equipment in auditorium (Change Order #3). Council President Buckholtz asked if there was any discussion. For the benefit of the students in attendance, Mr. Marrie explained that they will see a lot of requests for passage for a fair amount of dollars. This was not just run off five minutes before this meeting. This had to go through a lot of committees for discussion first. When you see it it is not just passing it off casually. A lot of time, thought, discussions and effort went into these.
