Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, September 19, 2016 <br />Page 13 <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />• Motion to extend the TIF for 700 Beta Drive for property tax year 2016. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to extend the TIF for 700 Beta Drive for <br />property tax year 2016. <br />Council President Saponaro asked, any discussion? There was none. <br />Roll Call: -AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />TIF Extended for <br />Property Tax Year 2016 <br />• Motion to reject all bids submitted on August 19, 2016 for the Parkview Pool <br />Filter/Heater Room Addition. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Williams, made a motion to reject all bids submitted on August 19, <br />2016 for the Parkview Pool Filter/Heater Room Addition. <br />Council President Saponaro asked, discussion? <br />There was-none. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Bids Rejected <br />• Motion to reject all bids submitted on September 16, 2016 for the Parkview Pool <br />Filter/Heater Room Addition. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Jerome, made a motion to reject all bids submitted on September <br />16, 2016 for the Parkview Pool Filter/Heater Room Addition. <br />Council President Saponaro asked, discussion? <br />Mr. Jerome stated, so we are close to the threshold where we would now need to do prevailing <br />wage? <br />Council President Saponaro explained, so the audience realizes, again, we have to reject bids <br />when they exceed a certain amount. They have done it twice now. Now we are looking at doing <br />something different. <br />Mr. Wynne asked Mr. Jerome, what was your question? <br />Mr. Jerome stated, we are close to the threshold. One bid was right at $75,000 so now we have <br />to do prevailing wage and this is going to cost more money to do. There's nothing we can get <br />rid of to bring the cost down to avoid prevailing wage? <br />Mr. Marrelli replied, we already did that. <br />
