Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council Monday, November 21, 2016 Page 2 CONSIDERATION OF MINUTES Regular Council Meeting -October 17, 2016 Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Jerome, made a motion to approve the minutes as written. ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carried NAYS: None Minutes of October 17, 2016 ABSTAIN: Marquardt Approved Special Council Meeting -November 7, 2016 Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Jerome, made a motion to approve the minutes as written. ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carried NAYS: None Minutes of November 7, 2016 Approved COMMENTS FROM MAYOR BODNAR Mayor Bodnar stated, I attended the Community Partnership on Aging COG meeting on November 17th. They anticipate having made about $5,000 on their chili cook-off which is usually asold-out event. I am pleased to say that Mayfield Village took 2nd place in the People's Choice Award category this year. Also, Richmond Heights has expressed an interested in joining the Community Partnership on Aging. They are following up on that. The CPA is continuing to develop programs to help people with aging in place, aging in their own homes. They already received a $25,000 grant toward planning those programs. Now they are hoping also to get a $50,000 grant to help with implementation of those programs. They are doing a great job. They are looking for grant money all of the time. They are also looking to promote themselves and get the word out there so people use their services. DEPARTMENT HEAD REPORTS: Diane Wolgamuth (Administration): A reminder that the next Cleveland Institute of Music concert is next Thursday, December 1St at 7:30 p.m. in Reserve Hall. I don't know yet what the program will be. I probably won't know until next week. As soon as we do, we will try to get the word out as soon as possible. Thank you. John Marrelli (Building): Architectural Review Board - We met on the 10th of November and approved an inground pool and yardscape on Village Circle Drive.
