Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Tuesday, January 19, 2016 <br />Page 9 <br />wellness clinic at Wildcat Sport and Fitness. It's for all school employees right now. It is hoped <br />that shortly the members of Wildcat will be able to take advantage of it. <br />With regard to the senior report; Stacy O'Brien from Community Partnership on Aging hosted a <br />Lunch N Learn for 30 seniors. That was on January 15'b. The next Community Partnership on <br />Aging movie will be February 10t'. The movie is The Intern. We have received 225 snow <br />removal applications for single driveways and 23 for circular driveways. We have received 130 <br />applications to opt out of the snow removal. Harbor Light Hospice will be hosting a free bingo <br />on January 20''. Governor's Village is hosting a lunch and movie on January 20'h as well. <br />Volunteers from A.ARP will be preparing tax returns for Village residents on March 21 St and <br />April 11lh. <br />PLAIeTNING DEPARTMENT - Ted Esborn <br />Mr. Esborn reported, I will continue to work with Mr. DiFranco and Magnus Equipment. I will <br />coordinate with CEDC. We are currently helping Magnus to secure a development loan from <br />Cuyahoga County. <br />ADMINISTRATION - Diane Wolgamuth <br />There was no report. <br />CLERK OF COUNCIL - Marv Betsa <br />Mrs. Betsa reported, Council should have received the information from the Ohio Municipal <br />League about their 2016 Newly Elected Council Member's Training Program. If you are <br />interested in attending, let me know. The invitation is also open for veteran Council members as <br />well. <br />The Loca1 Government Officials' Conference which is run by the State Auditor's office is <br />scheduled for March 22-24t' in Columbus. Let me know if you are interested and I will send you <br />more information. <br />Also, a reminder to newly-elected Council members and the Mayor, House Bi119 training will be <br />held here in May, or you can take the on-line program. You can also designate a representative to <br />attend in your stead, however, I strongly suggest you attend. On their agenda is discussion <br />concerning Open Meetings and Public Records. See me for information on that. <br />Council President Saponaro stated, I took the on-line module for the House Bill 9 training. It's <br />very good. Mary Beth can be the designee if you want her to be, however, it would be <br />advantageous for you to participate. Ceitainly if we are hosting it, we should participate. Get <br />information from Mary Beth. <br />Mrs. Betsa added, I have started to draft Rules and Regulations of Council. I will send it to the <br />Law Department and have them take a look at it.
