Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Tuesday, January 22, 2013 <br />Page 6 <br />Mr. Marrie replied, it is 7:00 here in this room on the 28th. <br />Safetv and Service - Mrs. Cinco reported Safety and Service met on Monday, the 14t' of <br />January. At that time, everything discussed with the Police and Fire Department was sent to <br />Finance and is on the agendas tonight. On the Safety/Service agenda was prisoner housing for <br />2013, cleaning of the police station for 2013, monthly CRIS/LEADS and NCIC usage for 2013 <br />and MARCS for 2013. <br />Finance Committee - Mr. Marrie stated, Nick is the new Chairman, so he will give the report. <br />Mr. Delguyd reported, we had 11 motions, 1 Ordinance and 1 Resolution. All are on the agenda <br />this evening. I will cover that as they come up. <br />Historical Societv - Mrs. Mills reported, our first meeting will be February 13'' in the <br />Community Room at 7:30. At that time, Dr. Hershey from the Western Reserve Historical <br />Society will present a program on the history of the Shaker Rapids. ' <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mr. Delguyd stated, there was rio meeting. There is no report. <br />The next meeting is yet to be announced. <br />M.A.R.C. - Dr. Parker stated, there was no meeting. There is no report. The next meeting will <br />be in February. <br />Ordinance Review Committee - Mr. Marquardt stated, there was no meeting. There is no <br />report. <br />Planning and Zoning - Mr. Marquardt reported, Planning and Zoning had a workshop on the <br />1701 and reviewed a proposal to expand Governor's Village and a proposal for Sign-A-Rama for <br />a Conditional Use Permit. <br />Recreation Board - Mr. Marrie reported, Recreation Board met on the 18t'. The Board was told <br />Administration was working on the restrooms for the soccer and softball fields. They evaluated <br />the Christmas party for the children. There is one Teen Event this Friday the 25' at Mayfield <br />High School, a dodgeball tournament. They also discussed the Debbie Hudacko Run which is <br />our annual run here in the Village. The Board came up with something different to attract more <br />runners. They are going to do a so-called hat trick, so if someone wants to enter all three races, <br />they could do the 5 mile, Sk and the 2 mile. This is to a11ow some of the runners to do a hat- <br />trick. We hope that will bring on some of the very very serious runners. <br />Commission on Aging - Mrs. Mills reported, the Commission on Aging was scheduled to have <br />a meeting today, but we had to cancel because of the weather. It has been rescheduled for <br />February 12'' at 11:00 at the Community Room. <br />SPECIAL COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />Information & Technolo?v - There was no meeting. There is no report.
