Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, March 18, 2013 <br />Page 6 <br />Safetv and Service - Mr. Delguyd stated, all of the items discussed at Safety and Service on the <br />4 are on the agenda this evening. <br />Finance Committee Mr. Delguyd reported, 0 of the items are on the agenda. Item 14 on the <br />Finance Committee agenda has a vendor change for the chemicals on the pool to O.P. Aquatics. <br />Historical Societv - Mrs. Mills reported, Mr. Muhle gave a very good report. He left out the <br />fact that we are going to have the consortiuxn of the Historical Societies of Northeast Valley here <br />in the Civic Center for a brunch on Apri120th. They are going to tour the House first and then <br />they are coming up here for their meeting. Dr. Kelly from the School Board was there today. He <br />spent the morning with us. He was very enlightened. Our next school to tour the House is <br />Millridge. There are about 90 students. <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mr. Delguyd reported, the next meeting is April 6th at Hilton <br />Garden Inn. <br />M.A.R.C. - Mr. Thomas reported, the Board met on Mazch 14''. Mr. Weinberg reported that the <br />cheerleading program is finished. There were 50 girls in the program. The floor hockey program <br />for grades lst through 5h will fuush this week. The high school program is taking a break during <br />Spring break. They will start up again. There are three more weeks after that. There. was <br />discussion about the effect of enrollment with fliers now all on school websites. Enrollment is <br />down but I think it is new to parents. Hopefully they will be catching on soon. The M.A.R.C. <br />Board recognized the efforts of Mayfield Village Recreation for their State award. The next <br />meeting will be Apri14th at.7:00 at the Board house. <br />Ordinance Review Committee - There was no report. <br />Planning and Zoning - Mr. Delguyd stated, there are items on the agenda this evening for <br />Council's consideration. <br />Recreation Soard - Mr. Marrie reported, we met on the 20'?'. We had presenta.tions from. Jim <br />McKnight on the restrooms for the ballfields and also talked in detail about what would be <br />involved such as allowing for parking of the food trucks by Progressive near the soccer fields. <br />Progressive is also considering donating towards that project for us. The pavilions that would be <br />there would be the same size as the pool's. We also discussed the sledding at The Grove which <br />people were surprised about. We also discussed the Easter Party which is on the 23`d at 1:30. We <br />can still use help. Our next meeting is Wednesday, March 20t'. <br />Commission on Aging - Mrs. Mills reported, the next Commission on Aging meeting will be <br />held on Tuesday May 7?' at 11:00 at the Senior Services office. Discussion will be held about the <br />annual Anniversary Party on May 18th. The Senior Information Open House on June 28th will <br />also be discussed. We are trying to get some organizations like the Garden Club, Historical <br />Society, Mayfield Women's Club and whoever we can to come in and fill some spaces to <br />provide more information to residents of the Village.
