Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Tuesday, January 17, 2012 <br />Page 21 <br />First Reading of Ordinance No. 2012-05, entitled; .".An emergency ordinance <br />disbanding the Planning Development Committee." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and <br />Council as a Whole. Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL.CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2012-05.. <br />Council President Buckholtz stated, again, this is another committee that really overlapped <br />other committees. Tfiese are all stepping stones to getting us to where we want to be. We <br />have done these experiments in how to structure and how we get there. Mayor Rinker added, I think what's been significant and it's the process of learning that we <br />all go through,-but with tlie Community Economic Development Committee that's really <br />stepped into the shoes here or the successor-in=interest, the fact .that it has more direct <br />involvement of Council working in conjunction with Administration, I think that that's <br />been an effective change. I think those who have participated would agree. We are <br />optimistic that this becomes a very practical and functional committee. <br />'Council President Buckholtz stated; we.don't usually single people out, but just as a word <br />of encouragement, I look forward to Mr. Delguyd's participation in that Committee as well. <br />Any other comments? There were none. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Ordinance Enacted <br />Resolution No._ _ 2012-01,_ entitled "An Emergency .Resolution confirming the <br />reappointment of Ronald Wynne as the Director of Finance for Mayfield Village, Ohio <br />and establishing the terms, conditions and compensation." Introduced by Mayor Rinker <br />ancl Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 2012-01. <br /> <br /> <br />Mayor Rinker stated, amidst all the levity, I think it behooves me at least to inject a <br />little bit of what 1 think we would all agree.
