Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council Monday, July 16, 2012 Page 16 • First Reading of Ordinance No. 2012-23, entitled, "An emergency ordinance adopting a tax budget for Mayfield Village, Ohio for the ta.x year 2013." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Rules Suspended Mrs. Mills, seconded by Dr. Parker, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2012-23. Council President Buckholtz asked if there were any comments. Mr. Wynne explained, this is a requirement to submit with the County a really rough draft estimate of what our budget will be for the following year. The main interest here is to see that we have sufficient revenues coming in in addition to property taxes to make our principal and interest debt payments next year when they come due. This helps them take our property tax revenue and allocate it between what goes into the Debt Retirement Fund and what goes into the General Fund. Council President Buckholtz asked if there were any questions. There were none. ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Ordinance Enacted • First Reading of Ordinance No. 2012-24, entitled, "An emergency ordinance confirming the appointment of James S. McKnight, ASLA, as the Village's Landscape Architect and establishing the terms, conditions and compensation of such appointment." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mrs. Cinco, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions.
