Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, August 20, 2012 <br />Page 3 <br />POLICE - Lieutenant Jablonski <br />Lieutenant Jablonski reported that we have the renewal contract for jail services for Bedford <br />Heights jail on the agenda this evening. . <br />PARKS & RECREATION - Bill Thomas <br />Mr. Thomas reported, we have our last summer concert this Thursday. We will be working with <br />the Police Department because a11 of the consttuction that is going on there. We will be parking <br />everyone by Center School. It's at 7:00 this Thursday. <br />In regards to our Senior report, Mr. Thomas stated, the game and card groups have been meeting <br />here for the remainder of the month until the demolition is cleaned up. A free watercolor <br />demonstration will be held on August 28th here at the Civic Center. There are still seats available <br />for our Wilds trip on September 28?` and Amish Counhy on October 4t'. - <br />Lastly, I assume everyone has received their recent issue of the Fall Parks and Recreation <br />brochure in the mail. <br />ARCHITECT - Ron Dinardo <br />There was no report. <br />PLANrTING DEPARTMENT - Ted Esborn <br />Mr. Esborn commented that Doug mentioned that Beta Drive is fuushed as part of the road <br />program. To complete the coristruction on Beta Drive, traffic was routed in on Wilson Mills, out <br />on SOM for everyone. For people leaving work to get to 271, everyone had to loop around. It <br />went on for about three and a half weeks. Things were remarkably ca1m. I thank the Police <br />Department and the businesses on Beta for their patience. <br />ADMINISTRATION - Diane Wolgamuth <br />There was no report. <br />STANDING COMMITTEE REPORTS: - <br />Activities Committee - Mrs. Mills stated, there was no meeting. There is no report. <br />Architectural Review Board - Mr. Marrelli reported, the Architectural Review Board met on <br />the 9 of August. We had two projects. The Library Architects brought in some fagade changes <br />that the Board rejected. They are going to be coming back on Thursday. Charter One Bank <br />wants to look like part of the shopping center across the street. They want to redo their whole
