Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, July 21, 2014 <br />Page 13 <br /> <br />Council President Pro Tem Marrie asked any questions? There were none. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Expenditure Authorized <br />Council President Pro Tem Marrie commented, with regard to the above two items, the process <br />of doing this will save us $330,000 over the next 12 years by bond refunding. <br />Motion to acknowledge receipt of financial reports for June 2014 and to approve of <br />same as submitted. <br />, <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Jerome, made a motion to acknowledge receipt of financial reports <br />for June 2014 and to approve of same as submitted. <br />Council President Pro Tem Marrie asked any comments or questions? There were none. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Financial Reports for <br />June 2014 Acknowledged/Approved <br />• First lteading of Ordinance No. 2014-18, entitled, "An Ordinance to provide for the <br />issuance and sale of $1,100,000 of Notes of Mayfield Village, Ohio, in anticipation of the <br />issuance of bonds for the purpose of conserving, preserving and enhancing the <br />availability of open spaces in the Village by acquiring land or interests therein, and <br />declaring an emergency." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Jerome, made a motion to suspend the rules of Council <br />requiring an Ordinance to be read on three separate occasions. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Rules Suspended <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Jerome, made a motion to enact Ordinance No. 2014-18. <br />Council President Pro Tem Marrie asked, any comments or questions? <br />Mr. Wynne stated, we have Notes for $1,900,000 that come through at the end of August. <br />We will be paying down $800,000 against those Notes from the General Fund and then <br />selling these Notes for $1,100,000 to pay off the remaining balance. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Ordinance Enacted
