Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />---- - - ---- Monday, December- 15; 2014---- - -- - <br />Page 11 <br />Mr. Wynne stated, the first item was originally $600,000. With some of the additional tax <br />monies we collected this year, we wanted to increase that amount to $900,000 so we have <br />funds available next year to completely pay off the $1.1 million in Notes we have that will <br />mature in August. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked, any other comments or questions? There were none. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Transfers Approved <br />Motion to authorize transfer from the: <br />^ Police Pension Fund to the General Fund to offset pension costs the sum of <br />Fifty One Thousand Dollars ($51,000). <br />^ Police Operating Fund to the General Fund to offset operating expenses the <br />sum of Sixty Four Thousand Dollars ($64,000). <br />1 <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to authorize transfer from the: <br />- Police Pension Fund to the General Fund to offset pension costs the sum of Fifty <br />One Thousand Dollars ($51,000). <br />- Police Operating Fund to the General Fund to offset operating expenses the sum <br />of Sixty Four Thousand Dollars ($64,000). <br />Council President Buckholtz asked, any comments? There were none. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Transfers Approved <br />Motion to authorize transfer from the General Fund to the Community Room Fund <br />to cover the cost of future construction the sum of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000). <br />Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Mrs. Mills, made a motion to authorize transfer from the General <br />Fund to the Community Room Fund to cover the cost of future construction the sum of One <br />Million Dollars ($1,000,000). <br />Council President Buckholtz asked, any comments? <br />Mr. Wynne replied, this was originally $300,000. In light of the studies done by the <br />architect at the Town Hall meeting had with various committees, we increased it from <br />$300,000 to $1,000,000 so that we have the funds set aside for whatever direction we <br />decide to take with the Community Room. <br />
