Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />- - -- Monday,-December-l5--2014 ---- --------- ---- - -- ----- - - --- _- ---- ------ --- - ---- -- - - - <br />Page 12 <br />Mr. Saponaro asked, we currently have $350,000 in the fund, so we will have $1,350,000 <br />set aside, correct Ron? <br />Mr. Wynne replied, yes. <br />Council President Buckholtz stated, once again, for the record, in terms of transfers, these <br />are not expenditures or costs, they are budgeted items being transferred into the appropriate <br />funds for future use, correct? <br />Mr. Wynne replied, in this case, yes. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Transfer Approved <br />Motion to authorize transfer from the General Fund to the Civic Center Fund to <br />cover future capital needs the sum of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000). <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Marquardt, made a motion to authorize transfer from the General <br />Fund to the Civic Center Fund to cover future capital needs the sum of One Hundred Thousand <br />Dollars ($100,000). <br />Council President Buckholtz asked, any comments? <br />Mr. Wynne replied, we have budgeted for the past couple years to replace the boilers in <br />this building because they are getting kind of old. We have not had to. This year we <br />decided that even though we have not spent the money, to transfer the money into that fund <br />so that the money will be set aside for that purpose once the need arises. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked, what does that put the balance of that fund at, roughly? <br />Mr. Wynne replied, approximately $150,000. <br />Council President Buckholtz stated, okay, so it's building up for a rainy day fund. Any <br />other comments? There were none. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Transfer Approved <br />Motion to authorize transfer from the General Fund to the Capital Improvement <br />Fund to cover the cost of entryway, lighting and sidewalk projects, the sum of Two <br />Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000). <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Jerome, made a motion to authorize transfer from the General Fund <br />to the Capital Improvement Fund to cover the cost of entryway, lighting and sidewalk projects, <br />the sum of Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000). <br />
