Caucus/Regular Council Mtg. <br />7-14-03 <br />Page 12 <br />r , <br />Hillcrest Council of Councils - Mr. Riter said Hillcrest Council of Councils has not met since <br />our last meeting. <br />Historical Society -Mrs. Mills said on July 9, the Historic House was open for a tour of the <br />Mayfield Village Garden Club. Today, our fire extinguishers were updated for the year. All <br />quilters found their way to the house by way of the detour due to road construction. The latest <br />quilt on the frame will be raffled off at the Ice Cream Social on September 10. <br />M.A.R.C. - Mr. Marrie said there was no report. <br />Ordinance Review Committee - Mr. Marrie said there was no report. <br />Planning and Zoning - Mr. Marquardt said there was no report. <br />Recreation Board - Mr. Marrie said there was no meeting, we don't meet in the summer. The <br />next meeting will be in September. <br />Sewer Liaison Committee -Council President Buckholtz said there was no report. <br />Stormwater Management -Mrs. Cinco said they did not meet this month. <br />Special Committee Reuorts: <br />t <br />_ ~ S.O.M. Center Road Widening -Mrs. Mills said I have to commend the police force and fire <br />department. I think everything is going very well. It seems now that the trees and bushes are cut <br />the citizens are appreciating the beautiful vista that that is going to present to them. John Bernot <br />has been very, very attentive. <br />Wage Negotiations - Dr. Parker said the Committee will be meeting this evening with Council <br />to discuss the latest negotiations that we've had between Mr. Brett and the Police Union. We will <br />also tentatively plan a meeting with the Fire union. <br />2020 Vision Committee - Mr. Marquardt said they met June 25 in the Community Room. There <br />was discussion on the policy implementation strategy outline. <br />Mrs. Mills said the next meeting will be September 17. That will be a general meeting for the <br />committee. The public meeting will be October 29. <br />OLD ZBUSINESS <br /> <br />1 <br />Third Reading of Ordinance No. 2003-18 (as amended), entitled; "An ordinance revising the <br />zone map of Mayfield Village, Ohio so as to amend the use classification of 6.6 acres of vacant <br />= land located on the west side of S.O.M. Center Road immediately south of the Mt. Vernon Office <br />Building also known as permanent parcel nos. 831-13-003, 831-13-006 and 831-13-017, from its <br />current classification of U-1 "Residential District" and "Office Laboratory" to "Planned <br />_~ <br />
