Regular Council Meeting <br />9-22-03 <br />Page 6 <br />Planning and Zoning - Mr. Marquardt said same (no meeting; no report.) <br />Recreation Board - Mr. Mamie said there is no report right now but their next meting will be <br />September 24. <br />Sewer Liaison Committee - Mr. Buckholtz said he has no report. <br />Stormwater Mgt./Drainage & Infrastructure -Mrs. Cinco said Stormwater Management met <br />this past Thursday. We had 2 projects currently being engineered and [getting] estimates: one is <br />on Metro Park, one on Walnut. As soon as we have some idea of cost, we will then meet. <br />Hopefully we can get these 2 done in the Fall. We're waiting to hear from Tom and Doug. <br />SPECIAL COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br />S.O.M. Center Road Widening Working Committee -Mrs. Mills deferred to Mr. Metzung <br />because he is working very closely with the people; they are doing an excellent job. <br />Mr. Metzung said progress on the S.O.M. project is moving along again. We had some trouble <br />with the gas company having some gas lines that were not lowered enough but those have all <br />been corrected. Great Lakes is once again free to begin work but now it's raining. All in all, they <br />are pretty close to being on schedule-maybe 4-5 days behind at most. <br />Wage Negotiations Committee - Dr. Parker said the next meeting is Monday, September 29. <br />2020 Vision Committee -Mrs. Mills said the next meeting is October 2 from 7-9 in the <br />Community Room. At the end of October will be the big open meeting-on October 29. <br />OLD B7SINESS <br />A motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of $3,208 to Ohio Battery for <br />one set UPS battery bank <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Dr. Parker, made a motion to authorize an expenditure in the amount of <br />$3,208 to Ohio Battery for one set UPS battery bank. <br />Roll Call: AYES: All <br />NAYS: None <br />Motion Carried <br />Expenditure Authorized <br />OPEN PORTION -Regarding items under Old Business <br />There were no comments. <br /> <br />1 <br /> <br />
