Council President Buckholtz stated, in reading your inemos and the notes froin various Committees, some of our people are making other plans and other arrangements. It's like, push a little here and then this is happening and then that's happening. I guess this is what we are hoping for or figuring would happen is that you couldn't have a definitive tiineline. You have a timeline to follow but realistically we can't be left with no employees and still have a dispatch, but at the saine time, we have employees leaving and opportunities being presented to us. Chief Edelman stated, we have a better idea of the timeline now than we did when last we spoke about this. November 1" is a reasonable changeover date. The fact that the employees are leaving is a real concern. I have one that just gave me her resignation today. She is going to be leaving at the end of next week. She volunteered to come back part-tiine to help out filling our shifts until such tiine as we change over. We are going to be using our part-time staff a lot more than we have. We have to do that. That's our priinary point of contact with the public. Chief Edelman stated, if I could, just one other comment on a personal note, putting all this other stuff away. I have been a policeman in Mayfield Village for almost 30 years and pretty much devoted most of my life to protecting this community. I am not about to do something that would endanger the lives of the residents here. If I didn't believe that this was the right move, I wouldn't have done this. Council President Buckholtz stated, it's working out really organically. It's easy to understand as the steps are moving forward. Thank you for all both of you are doing. ROLL CALL: AYES: All NAYS: None Motion Carried Resolution Adopted • First Reading of Resolution No. 2015-07, entitled, "A Resolution requesting the Cuyahoga County Fiscal,Officer to adjust the amended official certificate of estimated resources for 2015." Introduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 2015-07. Council President Buckholtz asked, any discussion? Mr. Wynne stated, this is just notification to the County of what our final revenue budget is for 2015. ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carried NAYS: None Resolution Adopted
