Minutes of the Regular Meeting of Council <br />Monday, March 16, 2015 <br />Page 18 <br />• First Reading of Resolution No. 2015-08, entitled, "An emergency resolution <br />authorizing entering into a contract with the Ohio Department of Transportation for its <br />2015-2016 Salt Participation Program." hltroduced by Mayor Rinker and Council as a <br />Whole. <br />Mr. Saponaro, seconded by Mr. Marrie, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 2015-08. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked, any questions? There were none. <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Resolution Adopted <br />• First Reading of Resolution No. 2015-09, entitled, "An emergency resolution <br />authorizing the Mayor and President of Council to enter into a consulting agreement with <br />Chapman and Chapman for Employee Benefits Consulting Services." Introduced by <br />Mayor Rinker and Council as a Whole. <br />Mrs. Mills, seconded by Mr. Jerome, made a motion to adopt Resolution No. 2015-09. <br />Mr. Wynne stated, Council has already approved this from a dollar standpoint for an annual <br />expense of $14,400. That number is 51 % less than what we have been paying in the past. <br />This is just the agreement to go with that amount. It's a three year agreeinent, but Diane <br />Calta and i finished negotiating it froin the standpoint that even though it is three years, the <br />pricing is fixed for three years, but we can opt out of it at any time if we feel we are not <br />getting the services we require. <br />Council President Buckholtz asked, any other questions? There were none <br />ROLL CALL: AYES: All Motion Carried <br />NAYS: None Resolution Adopted <br />JANY OTHER iVIA'TTERS : <br />Council President Buckholtz asked if there were any other matters. <br />Mr. Diemert stated, our office spent a good part of the day putting together these green <br />carnations for the celebration of St. Patrick's Day tomorrow. Those of you who have any <br />objection to wearing the green tomorrow, please give it back to us so we can give it to some poor <br />unfortunate person. Council President Buckholtz stated, I attended a Comedy Show in Reserve Ha11. It was a riot. <br />Mr. Jerome agreed. Scott you were there, what did you think? <br />Mr. Sipos replied, it was entertaining. They were good.
